LIMITED EDITIONS: SHOES AND HANDBAGS FROM THE FERRAGAMO CREATIONS COLLECTION…check out my favorites

Like valuable artwork, the shoes and handbags from the Ferragamo Creations collection are limited in number -and time – as the collection can be viewed and purchased only from Salvatore Ferragamo’s flagship store at the Royal Hawaiian Center from August 7th to August 16th.  Once again, Hawaii has the exclusive opportunity to experience a limited collection, a fusion of art + fashion + history, as the shoes and handbags represent “the most celebrated and iconic designs from the company’s archives of over 13,000 styles” and are revivials of the shoes and handbags found in the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum in Florence, Italy.  Moreso, it is only the second time that the collection has traveled to a U.S. boutique, as the first was in its San Francisco store.   Grazie, Ferragamo. While I always enjoy a trip to Italy, it is also nice to have access to limited editions in your own backyard.

Small bag in opal gold kid with a gilt metal fastening, with a ‘Gancino’ motif, and a gold chain (which can also be worn as a belt).The model is a new edition of a highly successful Ferragamo bag created for autumn-winter 1992-1993.
